Ethical Issues in Educational Research
Ethical issues in research are the rules and regulations which control the of research in granting protection to the respondents.
Educational research like many other programme have ethical issues that the researcher must be aware of any time they are conducting research.
There are ethical issues in the collection of information during education research. The ethical issues in education research is of two types.
The first is the code of ethical and professional conduct for research, that were put in place by the education research organisations. They offer guidelines for ethical conduct, and checklists of points to consider.
The second are the various commentaries on ethical issues in education research. They describe the various issues for different researchers and how to handle them.
Ethical issues can arise in quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods approaches.
